 I have started a new practice this year. Every Sunday morning, as I do yoga and meditate, I listen to my body and my heart and select a word or a phrase for the week and see how this quality can assist me. This week I selected the phrase... Magical Support This is how my week went... Monday: I went to Home Depot and ordered 7 windows. The window expert assisted me in saving as much money as possible. 15% + $6.59. He didn't have to do this (as it really isn't part of his job), however he decided that this was a service he was going to offer to everyone that asked for his assistance. He used to be a general contractor and knows that every penny saved on a current project means that the next project will be started sooner rather than later. Got to love that... I'm here to save you money!!! Tuesday: I felt overwhelmed with my work schedule/focus for the year. Out of the blue, a friend sent me a text stating... "Hope ur day is going well. You just popped into my head so I thought I would send you a message." Wednesday: I was feeling frustrated with my to-do list and my calendar, as it wasn't allowing me the space, I wanted in order to meet the new Art Director at the local Coffee Shop. I expressed my disappointment to a friend via text and she sent me a meme that made me laugh.... "Super woman coming through! Move out of the way!" Thursday: Another friend sent me a text and told me... You are my hero! Friday: I sat in awe looking back at how the week unfolded simply by asking for Magical Support. Who knew asking for magical support would be so easy!!! Isn't it interesting how living with a word or a phrase for a week, can provide such insight.
