Sad to say, summer is almost over. I took July and most of August off from blogging for some much-needed rest, relaxation, and focus. What did I do during this time? I focused mostly on writing my book as it became my obsession. Needless to say, it still isn't done, but it's getting closer to completion. Anyone who has ever created something (art, book, music, home improvement projects, etc.), knows that the process is a mix of ebbs and flows, various detours, and multiple versions before the final product is completed. I will keep you informed as to when the book and cards will be available on my website and/or Amazon for purchase. Over the course of the past month, while working on this project, I found myself walking multiple times through Target and Office Depot looking for various supplies including Index cards, sticky notes, pens, pencils, copier paper, and circa paper refills. I love walking through the office supply and school supply aisles. They inspire me and get me thinking...
So, I'm starting my search for classes and programs that I would like to this fall and winter. So if anyone has any suggestions and/or ideas, please let me know. In the meantime, if you are looking to learn something new, explore your own creativity, and connect with like-minded people, lease join me in person on Thursday, August 31st, 2023, at the Freeport Art Museum from 6 pm-7:30 pm for Spirituality 101: Getting Started with the Mind, Body, and Soul Connection. Spirituality 101: Getting Started With the Mind, Body & Soul Connection
Body: Chakradance is a healing movement practice aligned with music created to resonate with each chakra (energy points in the body). Through movement, you are guided into an inner dance of release and re-connection. There’s no right or wrong way to Chakradance. It is a journey of self-discovery. Soul: Mandala Art is a playful practice of integrating the dance experience and drawing. Discover the artist within by creating a Mandala of your Mind, Body, & Soul Connection Bring a yoga mat if you have one or you can sit in a chair. Either one is ok.
