Shake Your Snow Globe, Yeah Yeah!

This past Saturday I started to pull out my Christmas decorations.  I got as far as 2 decorations and stopped:

• A sparkly tabletop tree that lights up, and
• A sparkly snow globe that also lights up.

Why just 2 decorations?  Both of these decorations made me giggle and my heart happy.  I felt my Christmas decoration work was done for the day.  And then I took a step back and asked myself 3 questions:

What does this decoration symbolize to me?

Does this decoration reflect who I am now or who I want to be in the future?

Does this decoration open me up to possibilities?

The sparkly Christmas tree reminds me to take one day at a time and to stay focused on the magic of the holiday season vs. getting caught up in the drama.  The sparkly snow globe reminds me that I bring sparkly calmness in the midst of chaos, even during the holiday season.
