Embellish your flaws. They will turn into your strengths! ~Robin Rosenstiel Last week I had an "aha" moment and decided to change the name of my Facebook Page from Robin Rosenstiel Mentoring to Flawsome Alchemist (I'm sure there may be a few more final tweaks before it is finalized). One close friend asked me 2 questions: What is an alchemist? This is my favorite definition I could find via the internet.
A perfect example of this concept is a movie I finally decided to sit down and watch this past weekend on Netflix. And don't laugh when I tell you what it is... Kung Fu Panda Po (Panda) had the dream of learning Kung Fu. Throughout the series of movies, others continually point out to him his flaws and how he would not succeed (simply because he didn't fit the model of what a Kung Fu fighter should look like). But instead of these opinions stopping him from pursing his dream, he instead turns his flaws into his flawsome strengths. In a previous post, I spoke about how MOVIES CAN INSPIRE. What flaw do you have that appears to the outside world as negative? Can you find a movie where the flaw is turned into a FLAWSOME STRENGTH? If you are curious about learning how to turn your flaws into strengths, check out my workshop "Follow Your Bliss" this Saturday, where we will be focusing on self-care, self-love, and sparkle! The details are below. WEEKLY MINI-SOUND BATHMAGICAL THINGS TO CHECK OUT
