This year I decided I needed a holiday reboot so that I could reconnect to the magic of the holiday season. So, what happened?

I got the flu and decided to put up a minimal amount of Christmas decorations. I love to see Christmas lights and decorations, however, not enough to decorate my place this year. Conclusion - Christmas decorations didn't make the holiday reboot this year. Maybe next year.
A very tame old stray cat moved into the Kent Emporium. He found his way in the Kent Emporium via the cat door and claimed a cat bed on the first floor. When I saw him, I could tell his days were limited. He wasn't suffering or in pain, all he needed was a warm place to spend his final hospice days. So, I decided to let him stay. 2 weeks later and he is still alive, eating, and purring. Conclusion - this cat really connected me to the true meaning of the holiday season - compassion, gratitude, love, joy, and magic.
