Let's face it... Life is messy! Subconsciously, I've always known that, however, this year, it has become very apparent to me as I've been trying to focus my time and energy on writing a book and creating an oracle deck to go with the book. This was my general theme for the year.... With every step forward, take two steps back. Take 1 step forward with creating the book and the card deck, then two steps back with drama and exhaustion! There were days I didn't want to write. There were days I didn't want to create. I had all kinds of excuses. The house was a mess. There were weeds to pull. It was too hot. It was too noisy outside. My to-do list was too long. And I was tired. And what did I learn from all of this... Life isn't perfect, and there will always be another crisis. So, just keep moving forward! Even the day before the Freeport Art Museum Event - Spirituality 101 event, I had an emergency tooth extraction. It wasn't planned; it just happened, and I moved forward and had an awesome time at the sold-out event! Through all of the crazy this year, I did have to take a step back, re-evaluate both projects, and make an executive decision. I decided to focus on completing the Oracle card deck first and then on completing the book. The result...the oracle deck is complete. WOOHOO!!! Currently, the deck is available via Deckible.com for purchase (think of Kindle for Oracle Cards). I will be pursuing getting printed decks made, however, in the meantime, check out my deck online.
