Do you ever get an intuitive nudge and say...

I think I will...
But then you stop dead in your tracks and ask yourself...

Where is this going?
What is the plan?
I don't have time for this!

Your brain then kicks in with past experiences, overrides your intuitive nudge, and says...

You can't do that!
It makes no sense!
It will cost money!
What will other people think?

And when you ask a close friend or family member, instead of them providing words of encouragement or support, you are given the blank stare or the "that's just ridiculous" speech.

And then your heart sinks, and you move forward, living a status quo life because you don't trust yourself or your intuition.

My "I think I will" story...

In 2012, while living in Racine, WI, I stumbled across a Gong Workshop and a Gong Sound Bath by Richard Rudis. When I told my colleagues that I planned on spending the weekend in Racine attending the Gong Workshop and Gong Sound Bath, what did they do...

They laughed and made fun of me.

I didn't let the opinions of others stop me from following my heart and intuition. I attended a workshop and sound bath, and during the workshop, I discovered that Richard Rudis, the teacher, was an ex-engineer. This surprised me, and I couldn't wait to return to the office on Monday and tell the engineers about it. Despite my colleague's laughter and teasing, I was inspired by Richard's workshop, and it was the start of my journey into leading Sound Baths and making Sound Essence music. When I signed up for the workshop, I didn't know where it would take me, and I didn't have a plan. I was curious and trusted my heart and intuition, taking one step at a time.
