 To wear dreams on one's feet is to begin a reality to one's dreams. Thanks for all of the great feedback last week in regards to "The Shoes I Wear". My favorite feedback comment... "I need a vision. I'm smack dab in the middle of a desert dry spell!" So what did I do? I created a mini sound journey (below) to assist you in finding your next pair of "shoes". The purpose of this sound journey to for you to get out of your head and connect to heart to discover what next adventure and vision is calling you. After I completed the video, I did the sound journey myself (because I would never ask any one to do something I would not do myself) and all I can say is... REALLY?!?!?! Yellow High Healed Shoes?!?!??! Who wears yellow shoes? How did I feel about my shoe vision? I cringed at the thought of Yellow Shoes, which I guess is kind of funny if you look back at my own color choices. I started my shoe adventure in junior high wearing a pair of yellow converse shoes and now I have a yellow front door and a yellow sofa. So yellow isn't a foreign color to me. Why did I react this way? As soon as I cringed, this thought popped into my head. Because... PEOPLE WILL SEE ME! OMG - this has been a continue story of my life. Over the years, I have turned blending into the business crowd as an art form. Why? Because I've been told time and time again "You can't do that! This is the "correct" way you do it!" Leading the Reiki Refresher Workshop last month reminded me of my unique gift of understanding frameworks and then shifting the framework to better fit the real-world vs. following the absolute rules. Let's face it...people tend to judge me because... I DON'T FOLLOW THE RULES So it looks like this year, I'll be going off the beaten business path as I continue to create my business on my terms vs. following the "standard - this is how you do it" rules. I can't wait to see where this goes! Below is the Shoe Sound Journey Meditation. I would love for you to check it out and let me know what you discover (excitement, adventure, curiosity, shock, etc).
