After I published my book, Moxie, in May, I felt exhausted—physically, mentally, and emotionally. So, I did something bold: I cleared my calendar and gave myself permission to rest. At first, it felt freeing. But after a week of doing absolutely nothing, a strange feeling crept in...GUILT.
That inner pressure wasn’t new—it’s been with me my whole life. So, at first, I pushed the guilt aside and reminded myself...I’m exhausted. I need a break. But then this week, the energy of the full moon started to stir something in me. Full moons have a way of shining a bright light on what’s ready to be examined and released. For me, the full moon brought forward the guilt around not being productive—the voice that whispers I must always be doing, striving, producing to be worthy. It’s an old story I’ve carried quietly for years, which has led me to be over productive… and I have a feeling I’m not the only one. So, I started to think about this belief of "not being productive enough". Questioning where it came from and when it started. I suddenly connected the dots and realized that this isn't my story but an inherited story. A story of...
This full moon is offering all of us an invitation to bring that story into the light. To gently hold it. To honor where it came from—and then ask...
You are not here to repeat old patterns - you are here to reimagine them! So, this full moon is stirring up emotions and asking us to stop overriding our needs in the name of legacy. Let's redefine what we pass down by choosing to rest, reflect, and reset. Full Moon Reflection Prompts:

Let’s be real: the world is loud and noisy these days. The news, social media, and even the weather are becoming increasingly loud and overwhelming. But here’s what I’ve learned—again and again: When everything around me feels chaotic, loud, or overwhelming… That’s often the very moment a deeper calm is trying to get my attention. It’s not about escaping the chaos. It’s about choosing to anchor yourself within it. When we pause—just long enough to take a breath, feel our feet on the ground, or listen to our own heartbeat—we create space. And in that space, something magical happens. ✨ We shift from reaction to reflection. ✨ We quiet the noise long enough to hear what’s true. ✨ We open the door to a new perspective, a fresh idea, or a next step we couldn’t see before. This kind of calm isn’t passive—it’s powerful. It doesn’t mean you’re ignoring reality. It means you’re reclaiming your center so you can choose how to move forward. Sometimes the calm shows up in a deep breath. Or a walk outside. Or a sound bath, a journal page, or a moment of stillness with your hand on your heart. However, you access it, that calm is a compass. It doesn’t just soothe—it clarifies. It reminds you that you’re not stuck. You’re simply in transition. And just on the other side of that pause? Possibility. What’s one way you can create a moment of calm for yourself today, even if the world around you is still swirling? Interested in a private 1-on-1 Shamanic Reiki Sound Healing session? Strength. The Message: As a child, I had a natural inclination to solve problems. Whenever there was chaos or turmoil, I would take charge and work towards restoring peace. My focus was always on resolving the crisis, even if it meant putting my own needs last. As a result, 2 things happened:
As the years passed and I started to pursue my own life (college, career, etc.) and my dreams (entrepreneur), family chaos would appear. I would push my needs and dreams to the bottom of the list, and instead, I would assist with the family crisis. This happened so often that I established the story… “Here I go again! Whenever I pursue my dreams, chaos, and drama appear. Why do I bother to move forward with my dreams? Maybe I'm not meant to achieve my dreams.” Now, whenever chaos appears and this story pops up, I ask myself the following questions to debunk it and create a new story.
By asking myself these questions, I have replaced the "Here I Go Again, I must do everything!" story with the "I empower others to make their own choices!" Reflection Questions:
For the past few years, summer has gotten lost in the endless to-do list of things, and before I know it, summer is gone, and I didn't have time to relax and enjoy it. Alignment. Action. Purpose. Presence. Power. The Message: Years ago, I followed my passion for medicinal herbs by becoming a certified herbalist. I earned a certificate in aromatherapy, cultivated and harvested my own herbs, and developed unique blends of tea and lotion. I also worked part-time as a mentor at the Australasian College of Herbal Studies. However, since alternative medicine was still a relatively new concept in my area, my business struggled to gain attention, and sales were minimal.
Balancing the demands of a full-time job with growing and harvesting plants became increasingly difficult. Ultimately, I had to close my business, which left me feeling disheartened and disappointed. Consequently, I chose to abandon my passion for growing herbs and creating tea and lotions and instead concentrated on pursuing a corporate career. I lost faith in myself and my dreams and chose to play it safe. Years later, upon hearing my story, a teacher gave me the wisest advice, which I have paraphrased… “Experiencing disappointment does not equate to failure or the inability to obtain what you desire. Rather, it indicates that you still want your dream, but it may need to manifest differently.” 20 years later, I stumbled upon PlantWave, a device that turns plant signals into music. Combining my knowledge of medicinal herbs and music, I now create healing plant music that I have incorporated into my workshops and one-on-one sessions. Reflection Questions:
For years, I talked about writing a book. And for just as many years, I had the same excuse: Who would even want to read my story? That changed in January 2020. I was in Minneapolis, having dinner at Hazelwood with a longtime colleague. We were in Minneapolis for the week, helping a client map out a future roadmap. Somewhere between appetizers and the second glass of wine, Bob asked me a simple but bold question: What’s your story? So, I gave him the Cliff Notes version. After I finished, Bob looked me straight in the eye and said: You need to write that book. There are people who need to hear how your betrayals weren’t the end of your story. They were the ignition. His words stuck. Fast forward three years—after plenty of self-doubt, detours, and a dozen more excuses—I finally decided to make time to write my story. In May 2025, I finally released MOXIE. MOXIE is a bold declaration of what’s possible when you stop asking for permission and start pursuing your dreams! So, let me ask you—what dream have you been holding onto? Is there a story that is holding you back? A story of not having enough time? A story of not having enough money? A story around no one will buy this or want this? Because here’s the thing: The dream you want to pursue but think no one wants...might be the exact thing someone else needs . Your Next Bold Move Call to Action: 🌟 Curious about the betrayal that sparked my journey? You can read a sample of MOXIE for free on Amazon. 🌟 Ready to stop spinning your wheels? MAGICAL THINGS TO CHECK OUTTestimonial: I just opened the book and it flipped to 2 areas that I had just talked with someone about this morning. It was a magical synchronicity to go right to the page on serendipity!!!! I can wait to dip in the rest of the book. Thank you Robin for following your heart and writing. ~Lori ORACLE CARD OF THE WEEKBook Magic - Embrace Your Inner Power Oracle Deck Magic. Spiritual guidance. Curiosity. New ideas. The Message: The first time I experienced the magic of books was when I was walking through O'Hare Airport. On the outside, my life seemed perfect with a successful career and a happy marriage, but on the inside, I felt like everything was falling apart. As I passed by the airport bookstore, a particular book caught my eye. It was a book that I wouldn't typically choose to read, but it intrigued me. I ended up buying the book and finished reading it within just two days. The book ignited a spark in me that I hadn't felt in years - a sense of excitement. It also made me realize how I had hidden parts of myself to fit in and be accepted in both my personal and professional life.
Books have a portable magic to them. The right book always appears with the answer I'm looking for right after I ask the unsolvable question. Some of my personal favorites:
One morning, I decided to take a break from writing and do some yoga. While I was doing yoga, a book on my bookshelf caught my attention. After finishing my yoga session, I opened the book, and it inspired the design layout for a book I was working on. Several weeks later, while doing yoga again, another book caught my eye - "This Is Your Mind On Plants." I chuckled as it reminded me to start creating some plant sound clips. It's true what they say - books speak... you just need to listen. Reflection Questions:
